Cookie policy

We’re finalising this page with our lawyers. The substance won’t change without notice to customers.
Clutched uses as little browser storage as it can: only what’s needed to keep you signed in and make the app work. We don’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third parties set cookies through our site.
Cookies
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| sb-jqazytskiuatwkxkgnwn-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to Clutched. It may be split into parts ending .0, .1 and so on. | Until you sign out, or up to 400 days |
| sb-jqazytskiuatwkxkgnwn-auth-token-code-verifier | Protects sign-in through external accounts, single sign-on and email links while it completes. | Removed once sign-in completes |
These cookies are strictly necessary: Clutched can’t sign you in without them, so they don’t need your consent. Clients viewing a proposal, contract or invoice don’t get any cookies.
Other browser storage
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| cw-read | A random identifier, held in the browser tab, that groups the pages read during one visit to a proposal so the sender sees which pages were read. It doesn’t identify you. | Until the tab is closed |
| clutched-static-* | The installed app keeps an offline page and app icons on your device, so it can tell you when you’re offline. | Until the app is updated or removed |
Payments
When you upgrade your plan, or a client pays an invoice, the payment page is run by the payment provider on its own website, which sets its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Its cookie policy applies there.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you won’t be able to sign in to Clutched. If we ever add cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this page.
